Miguel Torres Las Mulas Sauvignon Blanc 2011 – $11.99
(100% Sauvignon Blanc; Central Valley, Chile) ORGANIC Las Mulas is made with the finest organic grapes grown from our vineyards in Chile. With Las Mulas we go back to the past to re-discover ancient viticulture techniques: vineyards harvested by hand, with no chemicals or pesticides that can interfere in the natural process to obtain the best quality. In Chile, before the mechanization in the vineyards, mules were commonly put to work. This is why this wine is called Las Mulas (The Mules). “It’s crisp and clean, with just enough grassy aggressiveness to show it as a New World sauvignon blanc, somewhere in between New Zealand and California in style." - The Washington Post
