World Beer Cup Medal Winners
Wednesday, May 30
5:30 to 6:30
MSWS Downtown
In 2005, the 30 year old Brewer's Association merged with the 20 year old Association of Brewers (creators of the Great American Beer Fest) to form a bigger, stronger, and faster Brewer's Association – what is today the largest advocacy group in America for small and independent brewers. To that end, since 1996 the Brewer's Association has presented the World Beer Cup to promote awareness and appreciation of great beers from around the world.
Earlier this month, 54 countries represented by 810 breweries, presenting almost 4000 beers, gathered in San Diego for the 2012 World Beer Cup. Of the 284 awards presented, we're proud to say that our regular shop stock was well represented. This Wednesday, saving you a trip to San Diego, we taste a collection of this year's World Beer Cup Medal winners.
