Javier Prosper’s winery lies along the banks of the River Júcar in Castile-La Mancha due east of Madrid. Tasting last week we immediately fell in love with his intriguing, unusual blend of 50/50 Sauvignon Blanc and Moscatel. I am a huge fan of dry Muscat. This one rocks! It shows the unmistakable Muscat perfume enlivened by the Sauvignon Blanc’s crisp acidity, with passion fruit wildflower.
